The mobile telephone usually annoys other people. When someone’s mobile telephone rings in some public areas, other people may be irritated. For example, when one’s mobile telephone rings in a cinema, other people who are watching the film may be disturbed and therefore feel angry. It’s true that people are asked to turn off their mobile telephones in some cinemas, restaurants and other public areas. However, not all people turn off their mobile telephones when they are asked to do so. Therefore, it is still possible for other people to hear someone’s mobile telephone ring and be disturbed.

Besides, the mobile telephone is believed to be an unnecessary device. There are already many different types of communication means in the world, for example, telephone and computer. People can use these communication means to communicate with each other and do not need a mobile telephone. Some people may argue that people need a mobile telephone as it can bring lots of convenience to them. People can phone someone by using mobile telephones whenever and wherever they want. However, without a mobile phone, people can also do so since they can find a public telephone nearby everywhere. So, we can still live without a mobile phone.

Other than these, the mobile telephone sometimes makes people waste time. Since the mobile telephone is portable, many people like to carry one to their offices or schools. They usually talk with their friends for a long time by using mobile telephone in the offices or schools. They waste their valuable time in this way and may be unable to do their work well as a result. Some people may argue that all kinds of communication means can make people waste time in this way, but not just the mobile telephone does. However, all kinds of communication means except the mobile telephone are bulky. Many people are unwilling to bring them with themselves and therefore cannot waste time by using these communication means to communicate with other people. Some people may argue again that people can find one very easily. They can just borrow one from the others. So, these communication means still can make people waste time. However, people usually want to return the communication means they borrow from the others as quickly as possible and so they will not use them for a long time. So, only the mobile telephone may make people waste time.

With the support of the only reasons, we can surely say that the mobile telephone is the most annoying, unnecessary and time-wasting device ever invented. I hope that one day no one will use this terrible device again and it can disappear from our lives completely.
