Although cloning technology can be used to increase food production, many people think that it will create problems for future generations and that it is unethical to reproduce any living thing from a gene.

As the President of the Science club or ethics club at your school, write an article for the school magazine expressing your view either for OR against cloning. Give three strong reasons to support your view.

We human living in this advanced world can solve various problems by using a lot of newly developed technology. It seems that the more problems human encountered the more technology is applied. Thus, some people think that it is unethical and our future generation will suffer from such technology, yet it is obvious that cloning technology has improved our daily life and solves problems we could not figure out solutions before.

With the application of cloning technology, food productions have been increased enough to feed the ever increasing population. Farmers are the one benefited most from this kind of technology, they can produce much more products while using less cost to produce. For example, cloning fruits would help to increase the income of farmers so as to meet the demands of population. However, some people think that cloning food is not as tasty and fresh as those grow without artificial ingredients. That would only be partially true because what cloning technology has helped with the growing process is that food became much tastier, not that perishable producing the nearly perfect food products.

Besides, some people have argued that the surge of food productions could lead to ecological imbalance. If sheep or cow is rapidly cloned, there would be a great demand for primary producers---the grasses need to be cloned as well in order to feed the number of animals. Soil would be exhausted of producing large amount of grass. It sounds logical in that way, but these people should realize that human can control the amount that are wished to be produced and the practice can be introduced gradually, not excessively. The purpose of using such technology is to solve the problems of increasing demand for food and to save farmers who are suffering from natural hazards occur in particular regions such as flooding in Europe and droughts in Africa.

Generally speaking, another reason why some people are not happy with the cloning technology is that it violates the natural rule and is therefore regarded unethical. It is because human once started accustomed to this new technology, greater reliance would be placed on it. It sounds not that good as human has to rely on technology as a way to get rid of problems. Nevertheless, cloning technology deserves some pride, for that it has saved thousands of peopleˇ¦s life and changed the destiny of victims of natural hazards. For those who think cloning technology is unethical should think about how much has it improved our daily live. We should treasure this invention of technology as it has made contribution to every corner of this world.

In the coming future, we will have to encounter some of the other problems, cloning technology would be just the tip of iceberg. Technology could lead human to another stage of living. We should utilize technology to cope with future problems. Therefore, we could help our future generation to get through difficulties but not to create problems.
