Dear unhappy Form 5 student, After reading your letter, I am really in sympathy with your situation. However, I think your problem isn¡¦t as serious as you think. I would like to give you some advice. I am hoping that would be useful for you to solve the problem. Firstly, I think you should make a timetable for yourself. Distribute the time for study and entertainment every day. If you follow this timetable, then your studies will be up to standard. Also you will get enough relaxing time for yourself. Then your stress problem can be reduced. If you study efficiently, your result in school must improve. Secondly, you'd better spend more time to communicate with your mother. Try to let her know that you are determined to do well at school, but you are under stress. In my opinion, she will understand the situation of you. During the free time of your timetable, you can join some E.C.A. in order to let you make more friends. Also you should open your mind, try to become more active in your class and make friends. You can go to the community center because you can easily make friends over there. Actually, most of the H.K. students are facing the problem of stress. Only the brave person can overcome it and achieve success in their studies. I think you should be able to do it. Try to free your mind. And find a more relaxing way to study.
