Recently, the government has been encouraging people to use recycling bins, and I would like to express my opinion on that.

I believe that people should put the rubbish in different recycling bins. There are bins of different kinds of rubbish. Newspapers should be thrown into the blue bins, soft drink cans into the yellow bins and plastic bottles into the brown ones. Someone says it is so inconvenient and troublesome, because they have no time to put the rubbish in the recycling bin. They also think that different bins take much space at home. However, if we do not do this, the environment will be hazard.

It is clear that the students are not interested and do not bother about recycling bins, because they concern their studies more. Nevertheless, the government needs to educate students about recycling bins. Therefore, the government and the teachers should still find some interesting ways about recycling bins to educate students.

I suppose people should bring their own bags when they shop. It is said that people feel inconvenient to bring their own bags , because people would be forgetful and some shopping is not planned. But plastic bags take years to disintegrate and they take up landfills. Thus, if some people forget to bring their own bags, they could use the bags which are made of paper. It is because paper is biodegradable, so it can recycle.

I suggest people should use less paper. Although most of the students need to hand in the homework in paper and some of the offices need to do the documents in paper, we can use the computers instead. The students can use the floppy to hand in their homework; the staff can use the e-mail to send their mails. Accordingly, we should minimize paper.

Try to minimize the use of tissue paper, paper towels and plastic bags.

We all have the responsibility of protecting our environment and saving the Earth.
